Then tell ten friends? Precious few, may be none. That’s for sure. Compare this to the Harry Potter phenomenon
Beware of the social media guru who underestimates the cost of a successful social media program. Some people say that everything in social media is either free or close to free. The “cheap” claim is everywhere. But if you’re doing it right, social media marketing is probably your largest marketing expense. I say that only the raw materials are free, there is no cost to set up your Twitter profile or Facebook page or join social networks; but pretty much everything else has a price tag.
Social Media is no longer an experiment; it is serious business, is strategic and integral to everything a business does, and must be considered a crucial and serious tool for reducing costs, enhancing loyalty, sparking action, building brands and more.
I’ve blogged about the pretender here, doing your due diligence on any guru is always in your best interest as there are only a handful of people who can point to a social media program that has tangible results.
